Notes:

OAL = Overall Annual Limit

BP = Benefit Pool. The BP can be increased at the option of the Student but is subject to a minimum of R900 which is paid into a Bank Debit Card issued to each Student!

VERY IMPORTANT MATTERS:

No foreign student will be admitted to any Learning Institution in the Republic of South Africa unless they comply with Regulation 10(1)(h) of The Immigration Act 2002 (Act 13 of 2002).

This Regulation, interalia, requires the foreign student to become a member of a Medical Aid or Medical Insurance officially recognized and registered in the Republic of South Africa.

Prime Care and Prime Care Plus are both registered and officially recognized!

Membership Cards
PrimeCare students are issued with an Emergency Card and a Bank Debit Card. The Emergency Card gives you access to ER24 (emergency transport) and hospitals in the event of an emergency. The Bank Debit Card gives you day-to-day healthcare and payment for claims in-hospital. Authorisation is required for hospital treatment!

LOOK AFTER YOUR CARDS! THEY ARE ESSENTIAL FOR IN-HOSPITAL CARE AND DOCTOR CONSULTATIONS!
